The Latest and Saddest Korean Film Recommendations in 2019

1. Birthday

First there is a movie called Birthday that might not be as happy as what you imagine from the title, gang.
Birthday adapted from the true story of the MV Sewol ferry accident which killed more than 300 people, where most of the victims were students.
The film tells the story of two parents, Jung-il (Sol Kyung-gu) and Soon-nam (Jeon Do-yeon), who lost their son to the incident.
Jung-il continues to feel guilty for not being with his son when he dies. The same thing happened with Soon-nam.
To commemorate him, they made a birthday event to commemorate the departure of his son who had not accompanied him, the gang.
 

2. Be With You

The film is adapted from the Japanese film, Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu tells the story of a family who lost his mother, Soo-a (Son Ye-jin).
 
So the father, Woo-jin (So Ji-sub) must take care of his child alone. A year later, Soo-a returns but doesn't remember anything.
 
The husband and son try to recover his wife's memory to return to life as before. Did both efforts succeed? It's better to just watch it!

3. Secret Boutique, Korean Drama that tells the story of a struggle
 
The latest Korean drama is directed by Park Hyung Gi who has successfully worked on the My Lovely Girl series. Tells the story of the 
struggle of a poor woman named Jenny Jang who works as a household assistant. With various struggles, he finally succeeded in opening a boutique.
Secret Boutique will air starting September 18, 2019.
